Creator of Parks Elevated Design. Through my own journey of searching for God’s calling in my life, I’ve found that women as a whole have wandered away from the simplicity of God’s perfect design for us: loving on our homes and families. No matter what season of life you are in, I hope to offer wisdom and encouragement for you to flourish in your role as a woman designed by the Lord Almighty.

Where this all began
I’m a former middle school teacher. I spent years earning degrees and trying to find the career that fulfilled me. God finally reminded me that I felt the most fulfilled while carrying out my housewife and homemaker duties at home.
My hope in starting this blog is to share as I learn the ways of simple living and homemaking in a modern age. I’m learning the lost skills of self sufficiency: baking bread, canning foods, cooking on cast iron, sewing, simple cleaning & simply living. I want to share these newly learned skills with you so you feel inspired and encouraged to learn how to live more simply right along with me.
